Created an attachment (id=102043) [details] ufo-ai-9999.ebuild Subversion ebuild. I haven't run this to completion, because it takes *overnight* to compile the maps - several hours on a fast PC. Testing & feedback welcome ;)
amd64 compatibility please :)

hi, I have several comments ... 1) I guess we could get rid (change status) of bug 44341, as that version is definitely dead 2) bug 127447 should be somehow closed too (this one is in fact duplicate of 127447) 3) I have asked at the developers mailing list about plans for 2.0 final - this is the reply: --snip-- We are discussing the situation from time to time but didn't come to the final conclusion, yet. Some of us want to create a branch of current trunk, do some bugfixing and release a 2.1 instead the very outdated 2.0 branch. --snip-- so, I would suggest stop waiting and include the RC6 ebuild with ~arch alternatively, we can go for a SVN snapshot - current trunk seems to me pretty stable, and the gameplay and features are a bit further 4) the map compilation really takes ages: overnight on Athlon64 1.8 GHz, three days on Duron 700 MHz - so pre-built package is a must
