Description:   Opened: 2003-01-17 11:48 0000 
The line:
chmod 4755 /usr/bin/beep
should be added after:
doexe beep
in function src_install as the beep docs say.
Because it is not there beep outputs an error when used by a non-root user (error: 
Could not open /dev/console for writing.
open: Permission denied
)
