Description John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-07 15:57:47 UTC
tracker bug for 2.16 issues & things we target for this release.
Comment 1 Magnus Anderson 2006-10-01 03:56:29 UTC
I think Bug #147285 be added to depends of this tracker.

It fails to compile unless that patch is applied to pygobject.
Comment 2 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-09 13:21:41 UTC
Leio: what about adding a depend on 149141 ? (gnome-base/nautilus-2.16.0 crashes when changing folder icon) I can confirm this one. While it's not earth shattering, it's still a basic feature of gnome.
Comment 3 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2006-10-13 18:19:20 UTC
GNOME 2.16 is now unmasked.
The C++ and java bindings remain masked until their respective teams (gnome-mm and java, iirc) get a look at it and see which subprofiles need to keep it masked for eternity (kernel 2.4 ones that don't have a matching versions C library, most likely), how it works, and get all that stuff handled.
Comment 4 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-14 13:31:53 UTC
add java and gnome-mm teams to know about this so we can have their bindings unmasked soon.

Thanks

I'd like to close both 144220 and 155231 (epiphany and yelp with firefox/xulrunner/whatnot) since we only support firefox right now. And xulrunner isn't probably going to go stable anytime soon (do tell me if I'm wrong on this)

Anyway, thoughts on this?
Comment 6 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2006-11-29 00:08:42 UTC
I'd just remove them from the depending bug list for now.
/me does that

Moved some bugs over to GNOME 2.18 tracker, bug 181943. Closing this one now, as only some arches are left, and the 2.16.3 stabilization bug will remain open for them.
Need to look at the situation in GNOME 2.16 C++ bindings too at some point, though...
