This fixes the problem with deskbar-applet when you have it in a bottom panel
and when you hit enter it activated the wrong item.

Patch for gentoo ebuild

The patch given on the gnome bug doesn't work directly with the ebuild for some
reason.  Here's a patch that will work with the ebuild without any
modification.

new version 2.14.1.1 is now in portage which includes this fix plus many
others.
