------- Comment #1 From Ray Klassen 2006-03-24 11:30:13 0000 -------
swapped in new server for working spammassassin configuration.
had a cron job that would run sa-learn on all the files in
/home/$user/Maildir/.newspam. if there weren any new spams it wouldn't complain
but now...

reams of

Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at \
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7/Mail/SpamAssassin/Message/Node.pm line 119.

and

archive-iterator: readdir found no mail in '/home/steve/Maildir/.newspam/tmp'
directory

old spamassassin version 3.0.4
new spamassassin version 3.1.1

still seems to be learning.

------- Comment #2 From Michael Cummings (RETIRED) 2006-03-25 08:51:27 0000 -------
was the second post the one with the error? I thought

archive-iterator: readdir found no mail in '/home/steve/Maildir/.newspam/tmp'
directory

in itself was rather obviously a configuration problem on your end. I can look
into the other error if you'd like, but so far this is looking like a
configuration/setup problem locally, not a problem with sa-learn.

------- Comment #3 From Ray Klassen 2006-03-27 08:16:02 0000 -------
Well I've done nothing different comparing one install to the other, except the
version change. that's why i logged it as a bug.

Past versions of sa-learn would uncomplainingly recurse all the .newspam
folders not commenting if there was no mail in a particular folder. What
configuration governs this behavior?

------- Comment #4 From Michael Cummings (RETIRED) 2007-04-15 11:54:21 0000 -------
Reviewing, this is actually a dup of bug 167515 (where the patch for sa-learn
was pointed at)
