------- Comment #2 From emerald 2006-04-23 03:25:11 0000 -------
second try works for me...

------- Comment #3 From Paolo Pedroni 2006-04-24 11:38:48 0000 -------
I have the same problem trying to recompile libcaca-0.9-r1 after changing some
USE flag.

It does not even work on second try.

------- Comment #4 From Martin Mokrejš 2006-05-03 19:45:07 0000 -------

I have tried several times with identical results.

------- Comment #7 From Chris Pick 2006-06-11 18:09:31 0000 -------
I had the exact same problem with auto make failing due to 'required file
`autotools/ltmain.sh' not found' but after retrying the compile about 5 to 6
times it just randomly worked.

Very very strange.

Still having a similar (automake, instead of autoconf) problem with
libcaca-0.9-r2 (now stable), and with most of the system completely recompiled
(with emerge -e).

Portage seems to give a little more output now:

------- Comment #9 From Matthias Schwarzott 2006-11-29 02:21:55 0000 -------
There were some changes to libcaca-0.9-r2 in october.
For me it works.

Please reopen if bug still exists.

media-libs/libcaca-0.99_beta11 seems fine for me on two hosts
