Description Thomas Kear 2006-02-28 21:57:12 UTC
Expresskeys controls the scroll strips and keys found on newer wacom intuos tablets and cintiq displays. Supports application profiles and binding the buttons to any keyboard key.

Note this is not a replacement for the x11-misc/linuxwacom utilities, is designed as an accessory to these, to provide support for the otherwise relatively unsupported 'pad' device.

expresskeys-0.2.6.ebuild

Unfortunately, another revision, due to email from author stating unreliability of download location, and the fact that expresskeysconf is a dummy executable and does not at this stage (or maybe ever) have functionality.
Comment 4 James Muckian 2006-09-14 09:19:05 UTC
Updated the ebuild to current version 0.3.2, changed dependency from x11-misc/linuxwacom to x11-drivers/linuxwacom and added the ~x86 keyword.

expresskeys-0.4.2.ebuild

Bump to 0.4.2 & minor updates to ebuild, no longer needed src_compile() call as --enable-expresskeys=yes is on by default.

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.
Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.

Interested in getting this working with my Intuos4, but it seems specific to xorg-1.6 and the deprecated linuxwacom driver. I'm on xorg-1.7 with xf86-input-wacom.
