Description:   Opened: 2006-02-11 02:11 0000
Hi, I notice that the ebuild for xorg-x11-7.0-r1 contains:

# Some fonts
RDEPEND="${RDEPEND}
        >=media-fonts/font-bh-ttf-1
        >=media-fonts/font-adobe-utopia-type1-1.0.1
        >=media-fonts/font-bitstream-type1-1
        >=media-fonts/font-adobe-100dpi-1"

I reckon that these fonts should not be a dependency. *No* fonts should be a
dependency - it's up to the user to choose the fonts :)

In particular, font-adobe-100dpi overrides Firefox's font for headings, as
shown at e.g. http://slashdot.org/ , causing my beautifully-rendered truetype
font to be replaced by a nasty bitmap one, boo hoo :)
