Description:   Opened: 2005-12-05 21:49 0000
libtool.m4 and ltmain.sh version mismatch
Easy workaround.
ebuild gmetadom...ebuild unpack
cd /var/tmp/portage/.../gmetadom...
libtoolize --copy --force
finish the ebuild.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gmetadom
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Failed during configuration

Expected Results:
Should compile easily

------- Comment #1 From MATSUU Takuto 2005-12-24 08:24:55 0000 -------
what version of gmetadom do you emerge?
I added gmetadom-0.2.3 in cvs. Would you test gmetadom-0.2.3?

------- Comment #2 From Henrique Rodrigues 2006-01-23 14:33:50 0000 -------
I have the same problem with gmetadom-0.2.1-r2, currently marked as ppc stable.
gmetadom-0.2.2 also fails, but gmetadom-0.2.2-r1 and gmetadom-0.2.3 both
compile nicely.

Taken from the changelog:

  12 Feb 2005; MATSUU Takuto <matsuu@gentoo.org>
  +files/gmetadom-0.2.2-gentoo.patch, +gmetadom-0.2.2-r1.ebuild:
Fixed emerge fails with libtool mismatch. Bug 81569.

Perhaps it's better if >=gmetadom-0.2.2-r1 be marked as stable?

------- Comment #3 From MATSUU Takuto 2006-08-05 16:07:02 0000 -------
sorry for delay

ppc,x86: please test and mark stable gmetadom-0.2.3

------- Comment #4 From Christian Faulhammer 2006-08-06 03:56:44 0000 -------
At least gdome2 0.8.0 needs to go stable, apart from that:

1) emerges fine
2) passes collision test
3) the only reverse dependency is x11-libs/gtkmathview which is not stable on
x86

stable for x86, along with gdome2 (which x86 was lagging behind)

ppc stable, closing that bug.
