Description:   Opened: 2005-11-19 18:37 0000
The latest app-text/sword-1.5.8 version will cause gnomesword-2.1.1 to fail to
start. A message box will
appear announcing that the application has unexpected stopped, with the option
to restart (which will not
work). If started from the command line the same message box will appear, but
there is no error output
in the terminal. I was able to duplicate this on different x86 systems using
the same ebuilds.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Emerge gnomesword-2.1.1
2.Emerge sword-1.5.8
3.Run gnomesword2

Actual Results:
The application gnomesword crashed.

Expected Results:
Run as expected.

please be mindful of the category you place these bugs in.

------- Comment #2 From John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) 2005-12-21 16:17:09 0000 -------
this package really isn't gnome, so its getting P5 for the moment.

------- Comment #4 From Jon Hood (RETIRED) 2006-04-18 13:04:28 0000 -------
I'd be happy to take this bug; please feel free to assign it to me, gnome team.

------- Comment #5 From Jon Hood (RETIRED) 2006-06-09 09:05:13 0000 -------
This should be fixed with gnomesword 2.1.7. Please test, and reopen if this
does not work for you.
