Description:   Opened: 2005-11-02 09:35 0000
On the 2005.1 amd64 universal install CD, the portage snapshot has ebuild files
for genkernel 3.3.5 while
the distfile on the cd is for genkernel 3.3.2.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Extract the portage 20050709 snapshot and look under sys-kernel/genkernel
2. Look at the file in /mnt/cdrom called genkernel-3.3.2.tar.bz2
3.

Actual Results:
Emerge did not work for genkernel.

Expected Results:
It should have installed genkernel-3.3.2 based on the the distfile, or
genkernel-3.3.5 based on the ebuild
files.

I had to modify the ebuild files to match version 3.3.2 on the cd. This
included chaning md5sums,
filenames, and sizes in the manifest and other files. After the change I could
build genkernel 3.3.2 and
was able to build a bootable kernel with it.

This is fixed with the 2005.1-r1 release media.
