Comment 1 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-10-26 06:51:36 UTC
magnant doesnt have any code to compile, it's just a collection of data files
Comment 2 robustah 2005-10-26 10:12:26 UTC
Magnant can be "installed", but it doesn't work. That's what I meant.
Comment 3 Lee Harr 2005-11-19 17:48:11 UTC
Same problem here. Looks like it may actually be a stratagus problem.

Does stratagus depend on a particular version of lua?

Comment 4 Martti Rannanjärvi 2006-01-06 06:59:13 UTC
Magnant 2.00 requires Stratagus 2.0; 2.1 won't work.

Would it be too much hassle to provide an stratagus 2.0 ebuild and let this one hard depend on it?
Curently there is only stratagus 2.1 in portage.

Comment 6 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-30 23:00:28 UTC
It would need to slot with the 2.1 version and would need to be attached here in the next few weeks. I've masked magnant for removal from portage since it seems like no one cares enough to fix up this bug in the past year.
Comment 7 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-29 17:43:54 UTC
removed from portage. marking WONTFIX.
