Description:   Opened: 2005-09-14 04:51 0000
Maybe i didn't get the memo about a new FHS, but the latest stable x86 (1.6.6)
and ~x86 (1.6.7) own a directory called /bogus_kde which seems kind of strange
to me.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge chemtool
2. qpkg -l chemtool

Expected Results:
This should go somewhere else, shouldn't it?

------- Comment #1 From Patrick Kursawe 2005-09-16 00:28:10 0000 -------
Strange.... what's your $KDEDIR?

------- Comment #2 From Wernfried Haas 2005-09-16 00:59:25 0000 -------
Doesn't seem to be set, echo $KDEDIR produces an empty line.

There's not much kde related stuff installed, maybe it's because of that:
# qpkg kde -v -I
kde-base/kpdf-3.4.1-r1 *
kde-base/kdelibs-3.4.1-r1 *
kde-base/kde-env-3-r3 *

A bit of grepping for KDE in /etc found:
/etc/csh.env:setenv KDEDIRS '/usr'
/etc/csh.env:setenv KDE_MALLOC '1'
/etc/env.d/99kde-env:KDEDIRS=/usr
/etc/env.d/99kde-env:KDE_MALLOC=1
/etc/env.d/99kde-env:#KDE_IS_PRELINKED=1
/etc/profile.env:export KDEDIRS='/usr'
/etc/profile.env:export KDE_MALLOC='1'

------- Comment #3 From Patrick Kursawe 2005-09-16 02:47:32 0000 -------
I think I found a solution. In CVS. Thanks for the hint.

------- Comment #4 From Wernfried Haas 2005-09-16 06:19:37 0000 -------
Yeah, works fine - no more /bogus_kde.

Thanks!
