Description:   Opened: 2005-09-10 13:14 0000
Hello,

I just broke off dev-libs/libnl from the bmon ebuild and was forced to drop arch
keywords.
This should not be hard to test.
Emerge bmon-2.1.0-r1 and check if its configure output correctly detects libnl.
Also, try running the bmon binary.

If everything works ok (and it really should, considering libnl was already
being built inside bmon's ebuild anyway), please keyword dev-libs/libnl and
net-analyzer/bmon.

Affected arches: amd64, hppa, ppc and sparc.

Thanks,
Marcelo

I'll be happy to test it once the ebuild hits the portage mirrors, so far
bmon-2.1.0 and bmon-2.1.0-r2 are the only ebuilds available.

Thanks, postmodern.
I actually bumped -r1 to -r2 because of the change in installed contents, so -r2
is the way to go.

amd64 is happy

Getting bus issues here on sparc. Seems to be related to a difference in
~sparc
and sparc systems as its not specific to the version you want us to keyword.

Marked ~hppa.

sparc: situation changed in the mean time?

------- Comment #9 From Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) 2007-02-01 19:18:57 0000 -------
It's broken, probably unaligned memory accesses which sparc userland doesn't
like.
This will cause the usual SIGBUS. Unkeyworded and closing.
