you need libidn, see bug 105267.

the ebuild itself contains a portability bug 105278 that IMHO can be easily fixed:

Steps to reproduce:
1. emerge libidn as in bug 105267
2. fix bug 105278 or delete the command "pwconv || die" from the ebuild.
3. ekeyword ~ppc-macos clamav-0.82.2.ebuild
4. ebuild clamav-0.82.2.ebuild digest
5. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~ppc-macos" emerge -a clamav

Recommend ~ppc-macos after fixing bug 105278.

------- Comment #1 From Fabian Groffen 2005-09-08 13:22:32 0000 -------
what is the almost in (almost)? Is it a reference to bug #105267 and bug
#105278 ?

------- Comment #2 From Tobias Hahn 2005-09-09 04:40:31 0000 -------
yes. additionally, it depends on bug 89644 if you USE="crypt".

------- Comment #3 From Mark Glines 2007-02-08 03:31:20 0000 -------
Sooo... now that those bugs are fixed, is it still "almost"?

------- Comment #4 From Tobias Hahn 2007-02-08 08:37:14 0000 -------
Good point, I'll give it another try. But gentoo-osx has undergone major
reengineering and is still under active development. In particular, it is no
longer / not yet part of mainline gentoo, so we should close this bug anyway, I
guess.

------- Comment #5 From Fabian Groffen 2007-02-08 09:34:53 0000 -------
lets move it into prefix

------- Comment #6 From Fabian Groffen 2007-02-08 21:40:52 0000 -------
now in prefix
