Description:   Opened: 2005-08-02 12:30 0000
I noticed that dev-libs/pwlib-1.8.4 has +esd USE flag on by default. I don't
have it in my personal USE flags. I don't care if it uses esd by default or not,
however it does not emerge the required dependencies, that is, enlightenment
sound daemon.

The error message is obviously:

g++: /usr/lib/libesd.a: No such file or directory
make[1]: ***
[/var/tmp/portage/pwlib-1.8.4/work/pwlib-1.8.4/lib/libpt_linux_x86_r.so.1.8.4]
Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/var/tmp/portage/pwlib-1.8.4/work/pwlib-1.8.4/src/ptlib/unix'
make: *** [opt] Error 2

!!! ERROR: dev-libs/pwlib-1.8.4 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 105, Exitcode 2
!!! make failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

As I stateb before, I don't have in my make.conf the 'esd' USE flag nor I need
it. Ideas why this is happening?

Thanks for your time :)
