If it is really broken, then mkdir /mnt/fixit mount --bind / /mnt/fixit mknod /mnt/fixit/dev/console c 5 1 mknod /mnt/fixit/dev/null c 1 3 umount /mnt/fixit rmdir /mnt/fixit does fix it. More likely, you just forgot to cp /etc/issue.devfix /etc/issue after. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 40987 *** |
