Hello, gsynaptics is a gnome configuration tool for synaptics touchpads. Here
is the 0.9.1 ebuild. I just used the URL of a mirror for the file source
because I dunno how to use mirror:// with sf.jp

Version bump.
* Cleared the $Header line.
* Added gconf dependency.
* Added pkg_postinst function with some instructions on xorg.conf configuration
and adding gsynaptics-init to session startup.

Testing CC, sorry for the noise...

------- Comment #9 From Hypnos 2006-03-28 16:46:39 0000 -------
Misc notes:

* I had to change the SRC_URI to
"mirror://sourceforge.jp/${PN}/19524/${P}.tar.gz"

The project "number" or whatever changed to 19524. Is there a better system?

* OMF file remake failed -- I don't know what this means, or if it matters.

* "doc" needs to be in IUSE

gsynaptics-0.9.6.ebuild

Project moved entirely to sourceforge.jp. Probably the reason SRC_URI changed.

0.9.6 ebuild. No changes to dependencies.

------- Comment #11 From Ed Catmur 2006-03-28 17:31:58 0000 -------
Uh, re comment 9:

* I don't expect SRC_URI to change again; I think it changed because the files
were previously on another project's ftp area.

* OMF remake - no idea. Doesn't show up here.

* "doc" in IUSE - the ebuild doesn't use doc; probably a gnome2.eclass bug.

gsynaptics-0.9.7.ebuild. SRC_URI changed again, ugh.

Why isn't this in portage? it's a glorious tool! All I have in my synaptics
part of xorg now is that SHMConfig thing, and everything works perfectly!

In portage with a p.m entry for the time being.

Building and using this tool works fine. Thanks a lot I've been needing this
for a while.

I Only 1 issue while installing;
"/var/tmp/portage/binpkgs/gsynaptics-0.9.7/inf/gsynaptics-0.9.7.ebuild: line
26: gnome2_postinst: command not found"

This issue, doesn't seem to affect anything.
