The sudo ldap patch has no support for timelimit and bind_timelimit options
which provides timeout settings when a server is not reachable. This leads
to insane timeouts (i.e. 10 minutes or more) when a server is down.
A patch has been coded and sent upstream for inclusion:
http://www.sudo.ws/pipermail/sudo-workers/2005-June/000479.html
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Waiting for upstream for the moment.
Cleaning up :) (blame tigger^ ;-P)
Still no reply from upstream. Can we get this into the tree for testing in the
meantime?
Just commited sudo-1.6.8_p9-r2 with the patch.
