Description John Mylchreest (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-24 04:48:16 UTC
Please find here: http://pastebin.com/288990 the -t output for what I am trying to do. apologies for any incomplete merges etc.

voicestream-pbx has an alternative package. voicestream-lcr.
both are able to fit in the slot of each other, however they both require voicestream-amp and therefor is a PDEPEND.

one of the DEPENDS on -amp is php, and portage is insistant on making sure php is merged *after* -amp.

For now I am merging php manually first, although this is only a workaround.

I don't follow your reasoning in making it a PDEPEND.

php is merged *after* -amp.

Known issue. -amp is processed before php is so the dependency between -amp
and php is ignored. This won't be fixed in the 2.0 series.
