Nick: co
First: Kevin
Last: Quinn
Herd: hardened
Role: co maintainer/devloper of the hardened userland.
CVS: cvs write will be needed
Location: Italy
Age: 34
Bugzilla: http://tinyurl.com/c6c46
Origin UK, now resident in Italy. Graduated from Manchester
University, UK in 1990; BSc in Computer Science & Mathematics.
Work full-time (so Gentoo is an evening/weekend hobby)
Kevin has shown a long term interest in hardening efforts and has been
instrumental in several key patches for the hardened toolchains
user-land/headers/mmedia. To the project he brings his low level
knowledge of assembly and a bit of professionalism that we could use. He
works with upstream to see bugs resolved properly.
It is his desire to mostly not work from IRC. It says it slows him down
and I can't blame him.
He is prepared to send his dev/gpg keys and otherwise to recruiters@gentoo.
Kevin please mail your quiz, an id_rsa.pub, and a gpg key for co@gentoo (assuming co is the desired username)
Both quizes have been mailed in.
Kevin didn't touch bugzilla and CVS for last 4 months. During that period he
was removed from some herds due to inactivity.
I'm starting retirement procedure. The first mail was sent today.

Sorry, just go ahead and retire me (didn't see the email, but they're easily
lost in the swamp these days). I had hoped to be able to get time to
contribute further, but things have turned out differently and that isn't
likely to change any time soon. It's only unrealistic optimism that has
prevented me from retiring so far!
On the plus side I should start getting a lot less spam in my unread mail :)
I have (or did have...) accounts on bender, dolphin, luna, ibmop720
For any post-retirement followup, I can be reached via email to 'co' at
kevquinn.com
Thanks for all that info and for the explantion. It's sad to see you go. Please
remember that returning to Gentoo is very easy after you've got your motivation
back again.
Infra, please start Kevin's retirement.
Infrastructure side of retirement has been processed. Sorry for the delay.
- Cleaned up all proj/ entries with retire.py
- Removed gentoo/developer cloak
- Removed access on #gentoo-dev
take care, Kevin :(
planet done
- removed from metadata.xml
- removed from herds.xml
- no assigned bugs found
It's all done.
