Thomas: It's not a blocker, if something doesn't compile. Please emerge Qt again. Ok, I'm reemerging Qt. But why isn't it a blocker, when an ebuild doesn't work? A "blocker" is defined as "This bugs prevent you from testing or developing the software". It's exactly, what this bug does: it prevents me from testing amarok 1.23. After recompiling Qt, I can emerge Amarok now, too. Strange. Before I've failed to emerge Amarok, I've emerge the KDE-/QT-app Digikam without problems. However, the will be closed. >But why isn't it a blocker, when an ebuild doesn't work?
The description is indeed not very helpful. See your whole Gentoo system as the software. It surely won't help to identify very important bug reports, if maybe 40% of them would be blockers.
