The attached patch and ebuild adds man pages for desktop-file-utils. They were written by Ross Burton <ross@burtonini.com> for Debian, but he gives permission for including them with other distros. Thanks Matt, I've applied this to desktop-file-utils-0.10-r1.
And removed in 0.15 because they are outdated by now. Please also see bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=284831 If you want them back, please coordinate with either upstream, Debian, or preferably both.
