Would be nice if the client components could be seperated from the server components, as well. Maybe you want to have a look at bug #20842, especially comment #c6. #2: Thank you, Markus. Your helpful comment put me on the right trail - I now see that apr is fundamental to all of subversion, including client components... Sorry for the bugspam, everyone - please ignore comment #1. :\ bouncing to the maintainer... I'll see about this in a new version of the ebuild. This is however very low on my priority list. Those three files don't make much of a difference. fixed in 1.4.5 (In reply to comment #6) > fixed in 1.4.5 svnserve itself is still being built and installed. These 3 files (/etc/{init,conf,xinetd}.d/svnserve) are very small and harmless so I hope that they will be unconditionally installed in Subversion 1.5.*. |
I run the subversion server as part of apache. I don't run svnserve, nor do I run xinet.d. It would be nice if those could optionally not be installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Actual Results: > /etc/init.d/svnserve > /etc/conf.d/svnserve > /etc/xinet.d/svnserve Expected Results: -
