The emitted warning looks like a false positive. Is there some simple way to install a gcc major version 12? Unmasking the ebuild didn't work, probably binutils haven't been the right match for it. The warning is a legit finding after all. Release 0.91 fixes the build and also removes -Werror from the default build.
