now thinking about it vim-base prob would want to be updated just doesnt need a
rX bump
works for me. i noticed today that a patch fails and i traced it back to the vim-6.0-gcc31.patch and if someone with gcc 3.1 try building vim with out that patch and it works fine my guess it can be removed and if it cant be removed can we move that patch and others so they patch after the patchs from the vim devs? (aka whats in vim-patch-1-197.tar.bz2) so those patchs wont fail Created attachment 4296 [details]
