Status Whiteboard:

Description:   Opened: 2005-02-24 05:28 0000
The ldaptor ebuild currently in the tree is pretty ancient (hasn't been really
updated since 2002), and doesn't work with my twisted-2 ebuilds from bug 80639.
This ebuild works with twisted-2. In fact I've made it depend on twisted-2 to
avoid messy deps caused by the twisted split. It also installs most docs (not
all of them, the slides won't build with the docbook stuff in the tree).

This should probably go in the tree if twisted-2 goes in, to make sure there's
an ldaptor that works with the new twisted.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge ldaptor

Actual Results:
Either I got a really old version, or I got a non-working version if I had my
twisted-2 prerelease ebuilds installed.

Expected Results:
Installed a more recent ldaptor

ebuild for ldaptor-0.0.35

The new ebuild. No patch, because the new and old ebuild have approximately no
lines in common.

patch to make ldaptor work with python 2.4

This is from ldaptor svn, it cleans up some weird code to work with python 2.4
and fixes an omission from setup.py
