wget does not recognize the successful completion of the download.  It tries to
resume at EOF 3 times and then aborts the emerge.

Pre-downloading the file into dist-files doesn't stop it.

It appears they have released an updated version of this tarball - hopefully it
won't happen again. I have tested out the new tarball and all seems fine. The
digest has been updated, please resync in an hour or so and try again.
Alternatively delete gmt/files/digest-gmt-4.0 and run ebuild gmt-4.0.ebuild
digest and then emerge gmt.

Please reopen if this is not fixed by a resync later. The new digest line
should be,
