After emerging the latest version of obexftp 0.10.7, when I try to pull files
from my phone using obexftp -b [device] -c Pictures -g 'Picture(1).jpg' or
obexftp -b [device] -g 'Pictures/Picture(1).jpg', I get an error. A friend of
mine gave me the Debain source for version 0.10.6-3 and I compiled that and it
worked fine. Apparently, there is a debian patch that fixes the problem that
has not been incorporated into the gentoo tree yet.

Weird, it works for me via BT. I'll have a look at the patch though.
I guess you have a t610 phone. There's a patch in debian sources which fixes
this. Try out obexftp-0.10.7-r1, just committed to CVS portage and let me know
if it fixes your problem.
I have a T637, similar to the T610. I'll try the new version later today when I
get a chance.
That fixed it... thanks a lot!
...and step two. Closed, thanks!
