Hi,
I'm trying the splitted ebuilds for KDE 3.4.0_beta1, and I'm having "fun" trying to get rid of the fake dependencies of some external packages.

app-editors/kile depends currently on the kdegraphics package (or the meta package entirely), and misses dependency on kate (which I think it should depend on if kde is requested, also if surely it can be replaced with other editors like kvimpart and so on).

The attached ebuild make it depends on kate (or kdebase) if kde flag is used, and adds dependencies on kpdf and kdvi if pdf and dvi flags are enabled (or on kdegraphics, obviously).

HTH,
Diego

Thanks for your help. I'll test it and commit.

Hi,

It should also depend on kde-base/kghostview for ps viewing.

Yuri.

works fine here with just kate, kpdf, kghostview, kdvi,
kdegraphics-kfile-plugins, kuickshow and ksvg installed - though the latter
three are not required IMHO.

Ok, changed the dependencies in kile-1.7.1.
I preferred to not introduce new flags for dvi and pdf.

The dep on kate is probably not needed, the library part of kate is in kdelibs.
Please report if there are problems!
