And enhanced fork of TuxKart.
It should work but it's not yet playable due to some bugs, though. ...so we can leave it untill the next version arives.
the ebuild provided doesn't seem to work, I tryed to make an ebuild myself but
the make install of the data/images/fonts doesn't seem to work straight out of
the box.

ebuild for supertuxkart-0.0.0
The Makefiles.am contained many errors (I've send correntions to the authors)
so a lot of sed'ing was nessesary to get this version working.
I wasn't able to test it fully because it doesn't make fun without hardware
OpenGL (here is ATI to blame ;)) but it looks good...
@Jonas Bähr: sdl-image and sdl-ttf are required for compilation
It misses fonts/Vera.ttf too.
upstream has accepted all the fixes ... please re-open once the next version is
released :)

New release
New devel version of supertuxkart. No more SDL, just plib is needed.
* new characters
* new graphics
* new tracks
* a whole new userinterface
* a bunch of minor additions
* bugfixes and performance improvement
0.2rc1 works fine on amd64, and it's already quite an improvement compared to
good old tuxkart :)

new supertuxkart-0.2_rc1.ebuild
- Removed sed direct depend
- Removed dohtml stuff, as all the documentation has been erased in this
version
- Changed the description
- Added ~amd64 keyword, reported to work
0.2rc2 is available, and emerges fine renaming the ebuild ;)
Changelog:
* Fix 'karts fall through track' bug.
* Two new collectables.
* Add screenshots to the track selection menu
*** Bug 148724 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
In portage. thanks for the bug report and ebuild.
It runs without problems on my PPC.
OK. That doesn't have anything to do with this bug. Please file a bug for the
PPC team to add their keywords to this package.
