Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-05-28 07:26:52 UTC
This is an auto-filed bug because sys-devel/dev86 fails to compile.
The issue was originally discovered on amd64, but it may be reproducible on other arches as well.
If you think that a different summary clarifies the issue better, feel free to change it.
Attached build log and emerge --info.

If you need further logs, feel free to ask.

> /usr/bin/install: cannot run 'strip': No such file or directory

/usr/bin/strip is generally supposed to be a symlink to sys-devel/binutils' strip, eg., /usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/binutils-bin/2.40/strip, or set via $STRIP. It's absence shouldn't relate to sys-devel/dev86, though.
