also you can bump the mozilla-thungerbird-bin one to 0.9, because, a rename of
the old ebuild works fine here.
The problem is, I see the linux binary on ftp.mozilla.org, but not the source.
Ya it looks like the source isnt up yet. It usally takes them a few hours,
sometimes even a day to get the source up.

Patch the 0.8 ebuild file to 0.9
How about this patch?
I tried to include the primary mirrors - ftp.mozilla.org seems to be
overloaded.
But be warned, my emerge with this ebuild is not yet finished ;)
The new ebuild works fine for me.
Ervin's ebuild patch seems to work for me, as well.
concerning an updated mozilla-thungerbird-bin ebuild:
1) copy the 0.8 ebuild
2) rename the copy to mozilla-thunderbird-bin-0.9.ebuild
3) ebuild mozilla-thunderbird-bin-0.9.ebuild digest
4) emerge mozilla-thunderbird-bin-0.9.ebuild
Any problem with doing this? It worked fine for me...
Just wanting to remind people to delete or move their
~/.thunderbird/default/?????.slt/compreg.dat file when they upgrade. For some
reason Thunderbird wouldn't connect to my mail server, but deleting this fixed
it, as it did when upgrading from 0.7 to 0.8.
Perhaps mozilla-launcher can do this? The 1.20 version deletes the compreg.dat
of the firefox profile dir (see Comment #24 in bug 64267) on an update.
Sorry, the comment link above won't do... it points to this bug. My bad...
wasn't thinking while typeing.
is there any reason that blocks the ebuild for thunderbird-bin-0.9 to be in the
portage ?
thanks, bye
0.9 is in portage now, thanks
