Between Oct. 20 and Oct. 21, 2004, when I ran "emerge -uDvp world", modutils and module-init-tools began blocking each other:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[blocks B     ] sys-apps/modutils (from pkg sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.0-r2)
[blocks B     ] sys-apps/module-init-tools (from pkg sys-apps/modutils-2.4.25)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -uDvp world
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[blocks B     ] sys-apps/modutils (from pkg sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.0-r2)
[blocks B     ] sys-apps/module-init-tools (from pkg sys-apps/modutils-2.4.25)

Expected Results:  
I've been using Gentoo since February of 2004 and this conflict had not occured
prior to running emerge sync, emerge -uDvp world, and emerge -uDv world between
the dates of 10/20/04 and 10/21/04.
