/usr/portage/profiles/package.mask patch to mask binutils-2.15.92.0.2-r1
First of all ... this bug does not refer to binutils-2.15.92.9.2-r1 but to binutils-2.15.92.0.2-r1. I hope this is the error: /usr/bin/gmsgfmt: error while loading shared libraries: libgettextlib-0.14.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [fr.gmo] Error 127 make[3]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... /usr/bin/gmsgfmt: error while loading shared libraries: libgettextlib-0.14.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [tr.gmo] Error 127 make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/binutils-2.15.92.0.2-r1/work/binutils-2.15.92.0.2/bfd/po' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/binutils-2.15.92.0.2-r1/work/binutils-2.15.92.0.2/bfd' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/binutils-2.15.92.0.2-r1/work/binutils-2.15.92.0.2/bfd' make: *** [all-bfd] Error 2 but (my) system install gettext-0.12 because gettext-0.14.1 is masked: # grep -B 2 gettext /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask # <vapier@gentoo.org> (07 Oct 2004) # Installs with a few bad linked executables #66449 =sys-devel/gettext-0.14.1 I think it sould be masked binutils-2.15.92.0.2-r1 too, or it should depend on gettext>=0.14.1, or ... it should be compiled without the nls flag so it would not depend on gettext ;) |
