The installation step runs depmod which fails.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge a net-dialup/slmodem-2.9.10 ebuild

Actual Results:  
The emerge failed during installation

Expected Results:  
The installation should succeed

The depmod step seems to be commented out in the Makefile for a 2.6 kernel. This
appears to be missing for a 2.4 kernel.

There is no need for releasing new ebuild; replacing the patch is enough.
