Unicode support is turned on with USE="unicode" as in slang-1.4.9-r1.ebuild
wich is needed by utf-capable mc.
Created attachment 39672 [details] Actual UTF-8 patches UTF-8 patches from http://www.suse.de/~nadvornik/mc.html revised to be compatible with gentoo patches. Created attachment 39673 [details, diff] VFS caddr_t patch Largefile.patch also from http://www.suse.de/~nadvornik/mc.html Without it I can't build mc on my machine. Suprisingly, default gentoo ebuilds emerge without it... But my ebuild does not. thx for making those patches compatible with gentoo, added them to mc-4.6.0-r10 |
