The same happens with libopenshot-0.1.5 and libopenshot-0.1.7 (ebuilds created by rename as described in https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=618408). I don't understand how this bug blocks updating openshot to a new version, per bugs 618404, 618408, and 618410. It is my understanding that the version in portage doesn't work with imagemagick 7 either. So putting the new version in portage provides an immediate benefit to everyone still using imagemagick 6 and has no effect on anyone running imagemagick 7. Am I missing something? *** Bug 626278 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I made libopenshot depend on an older imagemagick for now in https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=9f65d09b44a8a8f4a606316ca04796c9d20e013a Just thought I'd mention that I'm now getting some unsatisfied dependencies with imagemagick as a result of this libopenshot depend change. See this post I started before I stumbled across this bug report. https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8097610.html#8097610 Please try to add >=media-libs/libopenshot-7.0 to package.mask. This should fix it. It seems its imagemagick support is not needed by reverse deps... then, maybe we could disable it this patch works for me: https://github.com/OpenShot/libopenshot/issues/63#issuecomment-328821647 (In reply to Thomas Bettler from comment #8) > this patch works for me: > https://github.com/OpenShot/libopenshot/issues/63#issuecomment-328821647 Hi, Any change to get this included upstream or in gentoo ? This is currently blocking revdeps. Thanks!
