I'm seeing the same problem. It's fixed in more recent versions of vips (8.4.*) [1]. A workaround (also better performance) is to tell configure to use GraphicsMagick instead. There is no useflag for this, so the configure option needs to be passed via an environment variable: > with_magickpackage=GraphicsMagick emerge -v1 vips This can be also done via package.env too: /etc/portage/env/vips-gm: with_magickpackage=GraphicsMagick /etc/portage/package.env: media-libs/vips vips-gm [1] https://github.com/jcupitt/libvips/issues/480 Created attachment 474206 [details]
