Description Julien Allanos (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-22 15:40:12 UTC
I believe anjuta's dependency on gnome-base/ORBit2 should be changed to the new slotted (and stable marked) gnome-base/orbit.
Comment 1 Bertrand Lorentz 2004-08-24 11:10:54 UTC
Yes, the dependency should definitely be updated.
I have anjuta installed and "emerge -up world" gives me the following error :

Calculating world dependencies /
!!! all ebuilds that could satisfy ">=gnome-base/ORBit2-2.4" have been masked.
!!! possible candidates are:
- gnome-base/ORBit2-2.11.1 (masked by: ~keyword)
!!! (dependency required by "dev-util/anjuta-1.2.2-r1" [ebuild])
Comment 2 Lisa Seelye (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-24 11:30:53 UTC
thanks foser...

i'll fix this
Comment 3 Brandon Low (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-24 12:10:41 UTC
Shouldn't having it in the profiles/updates/Q3-2004 thing make dependencies resolve themselves, or am I not remembering correctly?

If not then whomever did the move needs to grep the tree and fix0r this.
Comment 4 Lisa Seelye (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-24 12:25:26 UTC
Fixed in CVS
Comment 5 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-25 20:39:16 UTC
This was fixed by foser, clearly see his comment on August 21:
