Description David Bergstein 2004-08-18 04:04:51 UTC
From ardour bug report 283: Playback volume changes in ardour mixer if transport is restarted/relocated

Sorry, that was my fault. TAP Equalizer reset its filters on every
activate() instead only on instantiate(). Has been fixed for a time now.
Go grab the latest version from http://tap-plugins.sf.net. Shouldn't
happen anymore.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run tap-plugins-0.6.0 w/ardour 0.9 (any recent version in the beta releases)
2. Load an ardour session with tap-plugins (e.g., reverb)
3. Playback volume changes after transport is restarted

Actual Results:
See note from tap-plugins author in details section of this report.

Expected Results:
Playback volume should not be changed by tap-plugins upon transport restart.

Please post new ebuild for tap-plugins. I was able to build tap-plugins-0.7.0
in the usual manner by copying the previous ebuild and renamining the copy in
my /usr/local/portage/media-plugins/tap-plugins directory (no mods to the
ebuild contents were required).
