In the file /usr/share/gnome/apps/Internet/pavuk.desktop
Type=Internet
should be 
Type=Application

Menu item fails to launch.

Ok, commited a -r4, plus marked myself as maintainer in the metadata, even though it looks like the package hasn't been touched by upstream since 2001.
Peter, please test the new ebuild and let us know if it works.

emerged the new net-misc/pavuk-0.9.28-r4
