So multilib_is_native_abi() gives the wrong response when USE=-multilib? Or regardless of USE=multilib, it seems. $ portageq envvar ABI DEFAULT_ABI please. [i660][root][~] portageq envvar ABI DEFAULT_ABI amd64 amd64 Could you please also post your `emerge --info` output? Do you have a /etc/portage/bashrc? If so, please post it as well.
