I can confirm this on another ~amd64 hardened system. I'll be happy to attach more info if someone wants, but most of the relevant information (other than being a physical system and not a chroot) should be pretty much the same. The problem is the "inherit vim-plugin" line. src_install could be eliminated too. On my system: diff -Naur /usr/portage/app-vim/extra-syntax/extra-syntax- 4-r1.ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-vim/extra-syntax/extra-syntax-4-r1.ebuild --- /usr/portage/app-vim/extra-syntax/extra-syntax-4-r1.ebuild 2016-08-25 22:58:15.000000000 +0200 +++ /usr/local/portage/app-vim/extra-syntax/extra-syntax-4-r1.ebuild 2016-08-31 17:31:04.552185444 +0200 @@ -4,13 +4,12 @@ EAPI=6 -inherit vim-plugin - DESCRIPTION="vim plugin: metapackage for all extra syntax packages" HOMEPAGE="http://www.vim.org/" LICENSE="metapackage" KEYWORDS="~amd64 ~mips ~ppc ~ppc64 ~x86" SRC_URI="" +SLOT=0 IUSE="" RDEPEND=" @@ -33,7 +32,3 @@ app-vim/wikipedia-syntax app-vim/xquery-syntax app-vim/xsl-syntax" - -src_install() { - : -} No maintainers? This bug is now over 2 months old. What's going on? Yeps, emerge consistently fails on all my computers/servers for each update I try :-( pleaaase... One tough bug. Maybe we can get Linus Torvalds to look at it. Hey Gentoo - what gives? If there are no devs at least say so. And delete the -r1 ebuild from the tree. Ignoring bugs for over 3 months is no way to manage them. The broken ebuild has been in the tree for more than three months. I've taken the liberty of fixing this since vim@ is apparently sleeping. https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=74da3582c283f6070da0576e1a730433ba905164 I can confirm, thanks a lot Michael :-) |
