I don't want to pester. What do I need to do to move this patch along? Or am I failing to follow the correct process? I've added (In reply to Christohper Harrington from comment #1) > I don't want to pester. What do I need to do to move this patch along? Or am > I failing to follow the correct process? Procedure is 100% correct, I just needed some spare time to apply the changes. Please see this fixed in 0.17.4, thanks. commit 4cca9e506e6d9aa9b40c8fa38fb1f29ee6557e67 Author: Michael Weber <xmw@gentoo.org> Date: Sun Jul 3 11:52:36 2016 +0200 x11-wm/xpra: REQUIRE_USE dec_av2 for x264 and x265 decoding (thanks Christohper Harrington, bug 586338), drop old. Created attachment 437972 [details, diff] Patch to xpra-0.17.3.ebuild to enforce dec_av2 USE flag If you merge x11-wm/xpra with x264 but don't have dec_av2 enabled, the resulting xpra client will not actually be capable of receiving x264. Same bug happens with x265. Attached is a patch to create the correct REQUIRED_USE to enforce this.
