Thank you for the quick catch; I'm using these options on my home system, no clue how the hell I missed it.
Either way, it's InCVS- revbumped since the installed files were borked :/

Brian and Antoine, thanks for finding and squashing this bug.  I had seen a few
problems with getting mpd started in the gentoo forums, but hadn't the foggiest
idea what it could be :-)
