The bash43-042 patch one can retrieve from the Gentoo mirror seems to subtly have changed upstream.  The Manifest file for the package has been correctly updated to reflect the actual file from upstream, but mirrors seem to deliver a slightly different file leading to checksum mismatches when building.

Is there some way to update the files on the mirrors or otherwise circumvent this problem?  Package can be built by retrieving the file from upstream manually, but this is simply annoying.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to merge =app-shells/bash-4.3_p42-r1
2. Weep.
