Hello everyone, I needed cyrus-sasl to authenticate users against authdaemond daemon shipped with the Courier-IMAP server. Even though this possibility in fact exists in the vanilla cyrus-sasl package, the ebuild doesnt support it. I made a custom ebuild just to address my needs and it works fine for me. Now I want to contribute my changes to the community. Also, along with the addition of new USE variable, namely authdaemond, I made some beautification of the code in the ebuild. I removed sql clause from the use_enable {mysql|postgres} sql lines. Otherwise they were producing ugly configure parameters like this: ... --enable-sql ... --disable-sql ... --enable-sql ... if you turned either mysql or portgres support on.
