all look fine, but we won't carry them for long. i.e. the next time there's a major bump (2.4->2.5), they'll get dropped even if they aren't merged (since they should have been merged by then). Yes I understand. The thing is I have no idea when the next major release will be so I am fine keeping them just for 2.4. If it's still a problem for 2.5 then I will start a new bug to discuss it. I will go ahead and add the to the ebuilds for now. I added these 4 patches and committed 2.4.0.1-r1.
