I have verified that this package works for ppc64.
Please add the ~ppc64 KEYWORDS to media-gfx/imagemagick-5.5.7.15.

my USE Flag is "gtk2 altivec ppc64 -gnome cjk jpeg gif png tiff truetype".

patch for imagemagick ebuild

This package fail compile, with -O[2-9] CFLAGS.
This patch solves this problem.

pulls in 
app-text/dgs

and ouch the ICE that comes out the imagemagick build look quite nasty.
